Day 6

What celebrity would you want to spend 15 minutes with?
I say ...Dr. Phil. It probably popped into my head because I am watching him right now, but I really agree with his philosophies and ideas. I like the fact that he is so down to earth and LOVE his southern sayings. I would just let him talk and write down as many as I could. "No matter how flat you make a pancake, it always has two sides"  I wish I was witty enough to just sling these sayings out in a conversation! I just think he is a cool guy!

Days 3,4,AND 5!

I totally missed these days of the challenge. I admit it. I am a total blogging failure...but I'm over it! From this point on I am kicking this blogs bootay!!!! Well, we will see how that goes!!!

Advice For A Newborn- Day 2 Challenge

Before Sophia arrived in our lives I had lots of advice to offer children. I am a teacher and it is my job to mold and guide young minds. So I felt prepared BEFORE she came into the world, and then she came and BAM I didn't know near as much as I thought I did! Don't get me wrong, I am doing just fine but she has taught ME so much in the short amount of time she has been with us. She has taught me that she WILL accomplish great things even when I have doubts in the back of my mind. She has also shown me that her strength and determination at FOUR MONTHS old is far more than I thought possible. The road we have waiting in front of us will have many winding curves and even some steep hills. However, Sophia will conquer  those challenges and obstacles. Why? Because SHE can! Even when others, (even her mama at times) have doubts.  So my advice to her? Remember the strength you have inside of you and never let anyone tell you that YOU can't do something my beautiful baby girl. She has my heart and I am so proud of the person she is already!

Goals

Everyone has them right?  How often do we actually THINK about them? Well here is my chance to do just that! For August I would like to...

1. Find a happy balance between returning to work and loving the daylights out of Sophia!
2. Work on letting go of little things that seem HUGE to me at the moment.
3. Organize my work self enough to be able to walk out of school and leave it behind for the day.
4. Have at least TWO date nights with my hubby! Lofty goal!
5. Breathe and enjoy every small moment. This is what life is all about!

30 Day Challenge

30 days is a LONG time. It is especially lengthy when you need to do something you don't do regularly. Like BLOG! A group of ladies that I have had the privilege of getting to know have extended a 30 day blogging challenge! The challenge has been accepted....WATCH OUT!

Husband of the Year

Jeremy has my vote for this honor. He has been my strength the last few weeks. He has told me it was going to be ok even when he was unsure himself that it would be. He has wiped away my tears as I mourned what was "supposed" to be. He has made me laugh uncontrollably in the middle of a crying rage.  Jeremy has shown me the past few weeks what a strong marriage consists of, and I am proud and honored to say that ours is STRONG. He has been totally selfless throughout our whole ordeal and has allowed me to run through all the emotions I needed to go through. He has given me space and also was right there when I needed him. I love him more today because of all of this. I am honored to be his wife.

Less Than 20!

Our baby will be here in less that 20 days! I couldn't be more excited and nervous at the same time! We have prepared EVERYTHING we could possibly think of, but we know for sure we forgot something that our little lady will undoubtedly remind us of! I have had complete support from Jeremy throughout this entire 9 months and can never express in words all that has meant to me. He has listened to me cry, complain, and be at my not so best. Through it all he has comforted, cooked, cleaned, and basically waited on me hand and foot. He is a good one!

Our lives will soon change forever, and I can't wait!
